IE 7/6 deposit (for receipts) bug

Description
In Internet Explorer 7 and 6, I am unable to save a deposit on a receipt. In particular, after saving a deposit (with a non-zero applied amount), the refreshing receipt screen will not show the deposit line item, and the amount applied will be show next to "distribution remaining:".
Also, the auto-apply button will not work with deposits.
