Setting Up a Client With Credit
For businesses that receive payment after goods are shipped or services are performed, accounts receivable and extending credit to clients is essential. To setup a client with credit, first open their client record then:
- Click on the "Credit" Tab.
- Check the box for "Has Credit".
- Enter the amount of credit you wish to give this client in the "Credit Limit" box and press Enter.
- The "Available Credit" box will auto-update with the correct amount.
- Click Save to update the information.
The open items area at the bottom of the screen will list currently pending invoices for this client if any exist.
