Client Defaults

Client defaults are accessed by choosing configuration from the settings menu. You will need to be logged in as a user with administrative rights.

After navigating to the configuration screen, scroll down to the section titled 'clients'.

Settings

default type

This sets the default client type (either client or prospect) for new client records. The default is set to 'client'. If you do not use prospects, or the majority of your manual entries are clients, you may want to change this.

has credit by default

This sets whether new clients have credit by default. This default will only take affect if the default type is set to 'client'.

default credit limit

This sets new clients default credit limit. This default will only take affect if the default type is set to 'client'.
