Search Screens

Many screens in phpBMS present the user with a search form and results table collectively known as a Search Screen.

The search form enables you to quickly find the record(s) you're interested in to carry out other tasks such as editing, posting and printing. If you conduct a search that you will need to repeat often you can save the search to be loaded later or in many cases set it up as a Quick Search.

Below the search form is the table of results for your search. At the top of the table are several icons to allow you to add and delete records, create reports(PDF printing), and post records among other tasks. These icons and the tasks they carry out vary from one Search Screen to another(for example Clients vs. Products).

Records in a Search Screen can be grouped and sorted and by going into table definitions, it is possible to change which columns you wish to be displayed.
